Free Thursdays

This is a print by British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shoninare, best known for his works mixing British colonial dress of the 1700s with African prints.
As a linguist studying literacy, I loved this print for how it captured numbers, number-like shapes and the chaos of color - to me representing how learning to read & write in a second language can be exciting and confusing.
