Bicycling the city

Enjoying this beautiful weather we've been blessed with we went on a bike ride around the city. Experienced our first Seattle "summer" beach Saturday at Golden Gardens. It was PACKED! And rode down along Salmon Bay et al before stopping here at Ship Canal Park. Bicycling is just one of a kind...Seattle stay sunny so I can keep on riding!

You would...

Yesterday Jen and I went kayaking on Lake Union. We were volunteering with a program that goes out on the waterways twice a week to pick up trash and check for oil spills. It was truly the perfect day for such an activity. We've had a beautifully sunny week and this was a great way to enjoy it.

It is by far the most technical kayaking I've ever done. Can't wait to get back on the water.

Motos and Yogurt

We went on the first ride of the season on this beautiful day in Seattle. Spring has sprung here and it's wonderful. Plus we ended with fro-yo which brightens up any day.

Rooftop Clouds

It was a reasonably nice day in Seattle and the sun set with the best kind of fluffy, cotton ball clouds.

Molly Moon's

Enjoyed the beautiful day by having some ice cream (chocolate stout & stumptown coffee) in a waffle cone from Molly Moon's in Cap Hill. A map of where they get their ingredients, but more importantly is the equation of declaration:
Portland > Seattle
(False)

Sunshine

A rarity in February. Took a lunch break to soak in the rays and walk off the desk cobwebs.
